Core belief at Kriti is that for a sustainable impact on peoples' income
levels and quality of lives, we need to deliver different interventions
simultaneously. Each individual service that fills an existing gap is likely
to have a positive impact; however, together they are more likely to

To make a sustainable improvement to quality of life of the urban poor by
providing them with required services in the areas of livelihoods, health
care and education.








Our Approach to Work:





The core principles with which we approach our work are:





For greater impact, we try and address different needs of the communities we
work with and channel multiple interventions simultaneously.




For greater efficiency, we will partner with specialized providers where
possible; alternatively, we will strive to develop sustainable business
models.




In all cases, we will remain focused on efficiency and impact of our work.








Legal Forms:





We have established two legal entities to take implement our work.





Kriti Social Initiatives (KSI), is a not-for-profit entity that is
registered as a Trust.




Kriti Sustainable Livelihoods (KSL), is a for-profit entity registered as a
Partnership Firm.





Our activities are spread between these two entities. The two legal forms
enable us to undertake both revenue generating (such as livelihoods) and
non-revenue generating (such as community health education) activities with
the community.
